Drawn into your eyes,
I seldom wonder where I'm going,
No word to make me wise,
     Beyond the certainty of knowing,
Like water lilies rooted in the
    River swiftly flowing,
We're swept along with open arms,
    Embracing what we're
        Growing into.

Your wild hair above me
    Bbrushes softly on my shoulder,
Your mouth is full of gifts for me,
    My innocence unfolds you,
The years have shaped our bodies
And our spirits, strong and able,
Have brought us here to serve and clear
    The feast upon our table.

Darkness in the heart, a call
    To rise from the familiar,
You want me there; I share the grief
And beauty we have spilled there,
The mystery you keep for me
     I harvest in my vineyard,
And pour the wine we drink in time
To heal what doubt has injured.

You are cell to cell
The touch I know so well,
The face of my delight,
    The flame that love ignites,
And I need you to see
    The truth inside of me,
The hero proud and free
    Who rides on fervently,
And you're my only-one,
    Knight of my rising sun,
My precious bird in hand,
    Released in love again.
